The scale can support a maximum weight of 400 pounds (181.437 kilograms).

Waterproof level is IPX-3. It is protected against water spraying up to 55 degrees from a vertical position at 9 liters/min with a pressure of 70-95 kN/m2 for six minutes.

Is the scale safe to use?

FitTrack uses Dual Bioelectric Impedance Analysis to measure body fat, which sends a low electrical current through the body when in use. This low electrical current is unnoticeable and is safe for humans.

Should I use the FitTrack smart scale if I have a pacemaker?

The FitTrack smart body scale uses an electrical current during measurements and is therefore not recommended for anyone fitted with a pacemaker or with an implanted medical device.

Is the FitTrack smart scale safe for use by pregnant women?

Pregnant women should consult their physicians before using the FitTrack smart scale. We recommend seeking professional advice before using any health-related devices.

I’m 17 years old, why do I only see readings about my body weight and nothing else?

Only the weight measurement is available for users under 18 years of age since younger users have rapidly changing body characteristics due to active body growth.

Can the scale be used without the app?

Yes, the scale can definitely be used as an ordinary scale. You can choose to use the scale without recording your weight on the app.

Measurement Questions

Why does my scale indicate an incorrect weight?

Scenario 1: "The scale indicates a weight differing by between 4 and 5 pounds, and only shows the correct weight once I have stepped off and on several times" The scale may need to be re-calibrated to show accurate readings. To do this, place the scale on a stable and even surface such as a tiled floor. Step on and off the scale quickly, and it will indicate 0.0 pounds, indicating that the calibration is complete.

Why does the FitTrack Health app only display only my body weight and no other body metrics?

A Bluetooth connection is necessary to record data. Install the FitTrack Health app and log in. Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone and step on the scale with bare feet. The app should indicate “connected” and not “connecting,” and all data should be visible. The scale should now show the Bluetooth logo (“B”) as well as your weight.

If that did not work, try these steps:

  1. Clean the surface of the scale and underneath your feet with a damp cloth or towel. Metrics may not be measured if the surface of the scale is not clean or the user’s feet are wet.
  2. Check the age settings in the app. The app will only measure and track users who are over 18 years old. Users under 18 are still growing and experiencing changes in their body, and therefore only their weight can be measured and tracked.
  3. Make sure your feet have direct contact with the surface of the scale. Please do not wear socks while weighing yourself.
  4. Double-check whether the plastic film/cover is still covering the scale’s front. This must be removed to avoid interference with the readings.
  5. Don’t step off the scale too soon. The weighing process is not complete until the progress bar on the display screen flashes three times.

Why does my body composition data differ from those at the gym/clinic?

Don’t worry, this is completely normal! The numbers on your scale may not confer with other measurement methods and professional medical instruments since it is a home-use scale intended for reference. Your FitTrack scale uses dual bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA), which is a common method for estimating body composition, particularly body fat. The BIA method is a cost-effective and accurate means to estimate body fat percentage.

Why do %fat, %muscle, and %water comprise 122% of my total body weight?

It is normal for these three indices to add up to more than 100% since water is present in both fat and muscle tissue.

What does the scale measure?

FitTrack Smart Body Scale measures 17 essential health factors including weight, body fat, muscle rate, hydration, bone mass, visceral fat, BMR, BMI, protein, and body age.

Does the scale sync with Apple Watch?

Unfortunately, FitTrack Smart Scales do not currently sync with the Apple Watch.

Does the scale work with a computer? Not right now! We are working on that development.

How is my sleep quality calculated?

Your overall sleep score is a sum of your individual scores in sleep duration against your sleep goal, and deep & light sleep, for a total score of up to 100. Most FitTrack users get a score between 76-95%. Sleep score ranges are:

    • Perfect - 100%
    • Excellent: 91-99%
    • Good: 76-90%
    • Fair: 60-75%/li>
    • Poor: Less than 59%

How can I improve my Sleep Quality in the FitTrack Health app?

To help improve your sleep score, work on your overall sleep habits, heart health, and activity levels:

    • Exercise earlier in the day or at least 3 to 4 hours before you go to sleep (source).
    • Maintain a consistent sleep schedule (source).
    • Meet the CDC’s recommended 150 active minutes per week.(source)

Why don’t I see my Sleep Quality score in the FitTrack Health app?

You may not have synced the data fully, please resync the device.

You must see sleep stages to see a sleep quality.

If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score:

    • Note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear.
    • Update the FitTrack Health app to the latest version.

CAN I TURN OFF SLEEP SCORE IN THE FitTrack APP?

You can’t turn off your sleep quality score at this time.

Why does my heart health history details show that my resting time is so long?

Atria resets everyday at 12am according to the time on your watch. Your resting heart rate includes the time that you are sleeping. Fatburn and Cardio will only be displayed if you have used Sports Modes on Atria. The heart rate history is a summary of your heart rate throughout the entire day. Note that metrics may change the next day as the app recalculates it based on the previous day’s data.

Why is my data different today vs when I checked it yesterday?

Your watch updates real time and analyzes the data based on 12am up until when you sync the watch. Your body changes throughout the day and when you are sleeping. If you see that your data is different from when you last checked it, don’t worry! FitTrack Health has analyzed your data to provide the most accurate summary from the previous day.

Why is my bedtime and wake up time inaccurate/doesn’t match Atria?

Upon waking up, Atria needs time to exit from sleep monitoring mode and analyze your previous day’s data. For the most accurate results, we recommend syncing the sleep data 1 hour after you have gone out of the bed. Remember that Atria needs a little nudge! Atria will exit from sleep monitoring mode after 12pm or after you have walked a minimum of 30 steps.

Why doesn’t my heart rate update when I enter it manually?

A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute.Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to 40 beats per minute. (source) Our input range is 38 to 220bpm. If you have input a heart rate over or under this range, the Health App would not be able to process it

    Syncing and troubleshooting issues

Note: Atria will not be connected properly to the App if you have connected it through your phone settings and not through the Health App.

Why does my awake time, light and deep sleep % not add up to the total sleep time (100%)?

Total sleep time on Atria is the time that you are actually sleeping (light + deep), however, Atria also detects the time that you are awake during the night. FitTrack Health analyzes all this information and syncs the data from Atria to the App so you can get a clear picture of your sleeping patterns.

Can I connect to Fitbit or another app?

No, currently FitTrack Health only allows users to connect to Apple Health and Google Fit. However, we are constantly making improvements to the app to ensure that we provide the best possible user experience! Stay tuned!

How many exercises do you have in the exercise list? Can I use this with Atria?

In FitTrack Health’s Add Exercise function, we have 396 sports modes. This feature is only available through the FitTrack Health app. You would not be able to connect this directly with Atria. The feature is made for you to keep track of your exercises in conjunction with Atria!

I’m using FitTrack Health without any device -

    - How come my metrics aren’t updating when I add data manually?

If you experience a delay in the app updating, please go back to the previous screen and re-enter again. If you are facing bugs, please contact our team through the Contact Form inside the app. The contact form can be found on your profile page -> FAQ -> Contact us.

    - Why does it take the average heart rate and not update individually on a daily basis?

-I added my Steps and Distance but made a mistake. How do I change it or delete it?

Please note when adding steps or distance manually, you will not be able to edit or remove your previous entries. We are currently working on an update to be able to make the user experience better. Stay tuned!

Why is my Sleep Schedule different from my actual bedtime and wake up time?

Your Bedtime and Wake Up time also includes your awake time. This means it includes the time that you’re laying in bed, right before falling asleep as well as the time when you wake up but not out of bed yet. Your sleep time on Atria shows the actual time you are asleep. In FitTrack Health app, you will be able to see both your Asleep and Awake time.

How is Fat Burn and Cardio determined?

For most people, resting heart rate is between 60bpm to 100bpm (source). As you exercise, your heart rate increases and Fat Burn and Cardio zones are determined based on your exercise level and heart rate.Your fat-burning heart rate is at about 70 percent of your maximum heart rate.

Why is my heart rate not accurate?

The heart rate is obtained by illuminating the human skin through a heart rate sensors. The sensors send back the blood flow of the human body through the principle of light refraction, and then calculating it through an algorithm. At this time, data samples need to be collected. Therefore, the first detection that you see when you put on the watch, may not have enough data collected yet. We would recommend you to wear the watch for more than 10 seconds, and afterwards, your heart rate should be accurate.

Why does my heart rate not show up?

Below are few common reasons why your heart rate is not displaying:
    1. Incorrect wearing style will affect the measurement of heart rate, such as, wearing too loose, arm shaking or watch movement, wearing too tight etc..
    2. Every person's skin reacts differently. Even when the watch is worn correctly, individual differences such as skin tone, hair follicles, tattoos, scars may affect sensors, thereby affecting measurement result.
    3. You are not allowing the watch to measure more than 10 seconds (remaining on the screen)

My body temperature is not accurate.

Body Temperature function measures real-time when wearing the watch continuously. You may check your body temperature by selecting the function on the watch. It takes up to 5 minutes for the watch to measure your body temperature for the first time.
The watch is NOT a medical device, it cannot be compared with professional medical equipment. The error range is ±0.3C.

My sleep is not measuring/is not accurate.

Below are common reasons why your sleep is not accurate or not displaying:
    1. The watch is not worn before going to bed. It is placed in other areas, only until you are about to go to bed.
    2. You did not fall asleep when in bed but may be awake in a sedentary state such as using the phone or reading a book. In this case, the watch may mistaken you to have fallen asleep as there are no movements.
    3. You took off the watch right away after waking up or was lying in bed for long period of time such as using the phone, watching videos or reading a book etc...

How does Atria 2.0 measure my sleep?

The G-sensor is used to determine movements and the stability of the heat rate. This allows sleep to be measured correctly.

    My steps are not updating.

The pedometer is calculated by the algorithm through the G-sensor. In order to avoid miscounting steps (such as when reaching out for items, computer operations, driving or other actions...), all calcluations are set to 10 physical steps, before entering into the step counting state. This may be 10+ arm swings or walking 10+ steps.

Why is my battery life low?

The battery life is related to many things, such as watch brightness settings, screen time, number of push/call notifications, real-time heart rate monitoring etc. With normal use of auto-brightness, screen time-out 5 seconds, 30 call reminders, 100 push notifications, battery life can last up to 5 days.

Why are my goal rings not accurate?

Firstly, check whether the watch has generated steps and whether there is data for step counting.
